SpawnPoint - Where Game Begins

DEO

Strapped to a Meteor -one of the better developer names I’ve seen- is releasing a new application for iOS devices.

DEO is a strategy arcade-style game that stars a small, round, red character named, well, DEO.

Although, this tiny creature is of great importance, for DEO has been charged with the task of traveling through space to renew life and instill hope in the universe.

What I enjoy most about DEO is the game’s gloomy art style. You really sense the somber reality of DEO’s mission, and the art style’s use of red and blacks really gives this game a melancholy tone.  

As you can see the game revolves around platforming, with you tapping the screen to control when DEO jumps.  

DEO features two worlds with over 96 challenging levels in total. You are rewarded with the ability to build a planet as you progress through the game, and throughout DEO as your planet is built and continues to grow, it will begin to produce life.

DEO will be available August 18^th for iOS devices and you can find it in the iTunes app store for $0.99
