Laughing Jackal’s first PS3 game, the high-speed arcade puzzler Cubixx HD is coming to the Playstation Network on August 17^th, respectfully offered at $9.99.

Although, if you are a member of Playstation Plus, then Cubixx HD will come with a 20% discount for the first week it’s available.

The fast-paced puzzler will come with 50 arcade levels, include a challenge mode with 50 challenges, and come with over 150 leaderboards across three brand new attack modes: Score Attack, Line Attack, and Time Attack.

Cubixx HD also offers a lot in terms of competitive multiplayer. You can gather up to seven friends to play cooperatively in Arcade and Attack modes, or you can compete against one another in the game’s deathmatch mode.

The game reminds me a lot of Geometry Wars as far as aesthetics go. Plus, I’ve always been a fan of frantic puzzle games where you have to avoid collisions for some reason. I would imagine if you’re a fan of geometry, puzzle games, or just vibrant colors in general, Cubixx HD has something to offer you.
