I love it when mobile games don’t take themselves too seriously. Save Yammi requires you to feed a cute octopus using some unique touch screen gameplay.

BulkyPix, the creators of Save Yammi, encourage players to think outside of the box by having to draw a rope using the touch screen to feed Yammi a cookie. Sounds pretty simple, and it is at first, but by the end of the 100 different levels offered in Save Yammi you’re going to have to be creative to feed this seafaring creature.

The visuals in Save Yammi look really crisp. The game offers a lot of content with 100 diverse levels, and the cherry on top is that Save Yammi is coming out August 10^th and is respectively priced at $.99.

I’m really fond of the rope idea. Although, I’m sure it’s not completely authentic to BulkyPix. However, I think the gameplay in Save Yammi makes for an ideal iOS game, taking full advantage of both the touch screen and gyroscopic technology, and further proving that mobile games have their place.
