Storm

IndiePub just released their Spring trailer, the first of four season reels they plan on showing off before the release of their game Storm, set to release sometime this summer 2011.

Storm allows you to manipulate seasonal weather conditions to turn seeds into trees by guiding them through nature-themed levels set to a tranquil music background. Featuring 49 intriguing levels, players use three main elements and four secondary elements to maneuver five different kinds of seeds in each of the four seasons.

Overall the game looks aesthetically pleasing, and I really dig the natural theme. I appreciate this trend of down-tempo games lately. Sometimes it’s nice to really relax when you play video games.

Storm is set to release this summer on Playstation Network and PC for $9.99 and Xbox Live Arcade for 800 Microsoft Points.
