The Darkness II
Jackie Estacado is back in The Darkness II, which takes place two years after the original.
One thing I noticed that is different about the game are the graphics. The development team decided to go with a more cell shaded approach to make the game look like a graphic novel in motion.
You will still be able to control The Darkeness, using one for stabbing and the other for grabbing, and this opens up a lot of creativity for how you approach combat. I must say, picking up objects, such as a car door, and hurling it through the abdomen of your opponent, severing him in two, looks rather satisfying.
The Darkness will also be able to grant you special abilities in the midst of combat such as giving you the ability to shoot through walls, unlimited ammo for a short period of time, amongst others.
The Darkness will be available October 4th 2011 for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC.
