So with E3 in full effect, some of our thirst for gaming information has been quenched. All three press conferences have come and gone, and my thoughts are to follow.
For now, we can take a deep breath and try to digest some of the big announcements that were made.
I have to say personally that I haven’t had that much faith in the direction of Nintendo, although after watching their press conference I have to reassess my opinions.
The WiiU may not look like the graphical powerhouse that some of you might have wanted, but the technology here is innovative and a lot more practical than the original designs for the Wii.
Nintendo has gone from a company that had its back against the wall with the Gamecube, to a very confident and innovative dynamo that may be at the forefront for creative technology.

While the Wii didn't really appeal to me I do like the fact that Nintendo are trying different ideas rather than just making the same thing with better graphics. Looks like they've come up with another interesting idea that could change how people play games and give game developers new options to explore. I doubt I'll buy one but I approve of the innovation.
