Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure

Skylanders Spyro's Adventure is an entertainment breakthrough for the toy and video game industries. Through an innovative use of technology, players can use toys in conjunction with their computer game. By placing the toys on the Portal of Power, players are transported directly into the magical world of Skylands as that character. They will explore mythical lands and collect various gold and treasures while battling outlandish creatures on the quest to save Skylands from the evil Portal Master Kaos.

There are ten toys to collect allowing the player to become a range of characters and have a different gaming experience each time they play!

Our embargo breaks on 7th June when all the E3 assets will become available but, as a sneak peak, we wanted to provide you with previews of some of the characters which you can post online and write about immediately.

Below is some background info/caption info for each character vignette. I've also attached the fact sheet as background info for you.

Spyro
"All Fired Up"
Element: Magic
Primary Attack: Fire Breath
Secondary Attack: Horn Charge
Background: Spyro hails from a rare line of magical purple dragons that come from a faraway land few have ever travelled. He has been on many exciting adventures, and has a remarkable knowledge of the different lands he protects. A strong-willed dragon who is young at heart, Spyro is fearless and brave. A true hero dedicated to defending his world from all things evil.

Gill Grunt
"Fear The Fish"
Element: Water
Primary Attack: Harpoon Gun
Secondary Attack: Water Cannon
Background: For many years Gill Grunt peacefully lived deep in the oceans until a nasty band of pirates kidnapped his Mermaid girlfriend. He then took to land and sea to search for her, eventually joining the Skylanders to help defend the world from every kind of foe... but especially pirates. Gill Grunt is one fish that never lets evil off the hook.

Trigger Happy
"No Gold, No Glory"
Element: Tech
Primary Attack: Gold Coin Shooters
Secondary Attack: Safe Cracker Bomb
Background: Trigger Happy is more than his name, it's his solution to every problem. Nobody knows from where he came. He just showed up one day blasting gold coins everywhere with his custom-crafted shooters. Now everyone throughout the lands knows of this crazy goldslinger that will take down any bad guy... usually without bothering to aim.
