I hope you weren’t looking to play Mass Effect 3 this holiday season because I have some bad news.
Today on Bioware’s public forum they shared this announcement,
“Today we have confirmed that Mass Effect 3 will be released in the first three months of 2012. The development team is laser focused on making sure Mass Effect 3 is the biggest, boldest and best game in the series, ensuring that it exceeds everyone’s expectations. We'll have more details about specific dates as we get closer to release.”
Now I understand that this news can be disheartening, but I would rather they take their time and deliver something profound. If you go to get your car fixed, you don’t complain because it takes a long time, all you care about is that they do a good job fixing your car. Let this one ferment people. If Bioware is true to their word, (which they have been thus far) you’ll be glad they took the time to polish this one up.
