The studio's previous releases, multi-award winner Auditorium and addictive puzzler Fractal, combine dynamic audio tracks with stunning visuals to create truly unique games. Pulse takes this a step further by featuring the vibrant sounds of local Philadelphia talent within its various stages.

The game's diverse soundtrack highlights a variety of styles that, when combined with gameplay, offers an uncommonly rich player experience. Pulse's uniqueness garnered quite a bit of attention at this year's Game Developer's Conference in San Francisco. Tracy Erickson from Pocket Gamer called it "a package so thoroughly well put together that you're reminded of why music games were popular in the first place." Chris Holt from Macworld built on this thought, dubbing Pulse a "remarkable rhythm game" in his feature.
