Champions Online Recap
Pooka posted this item on Dec 15, 2010

With the upcoming switch to a free to play platform, Atari and Cryptic Studios are taking a look at all the advancements they have made with Champions Online in the past year and a half. October of 2009 saw their first update with the coming of Blood Moon; a Halloween themed event that brought werewolves in as a popular adversary. By November they came out with the Nemesis Confrontation update, to further put heroes against their own customized nemesis. Further updates continue to give new content, new villains, and new options for the heroes of Millennium City.

When Champions Online first released there was a lack of content that had many players turning away from the game. But now after a year and a half of consistent updates it has transformed back into a game worth playing! If you're thinking about giving Champions another try, keep your eye on the free to play progress here http://www.champions-online.com/f2p
