Press Release
ChaosTrend Wii development
ChaosTrend Ltd is accelerating ahead with their new IP called ‘Fuzzums’ and the team from Wales are showing no signs of slowing down. The company applied for Official Developer status from Nintendo, who themselves set a high standard for all of their 3rd Party game developers. But against all odds the small company Based in Swansea have elevated themselves to meet the challenge and have now been given Official Nintendo Wii developer status, which is good news for Wii owners wanting to play ChaosTrend’s hot new title.
Managing Director Darren Adams stated “We are extremely happy with Nintendo’s decision to give ChaosTrend Ltd Official Developer status and hope to port Fuzzums to the Wii as soon as the team are familiarised with the Hardware and Software environments. This is a golden opportunity which we intend to make the most of; as the Wii is a well known and widespread console which will allow us to tap into a market we had only dreamed of entering when we started the ChaosTrend Ltd.”
ChaosTrend is now looking for a publisher for Fuzzums and investment to take the company to the next level, which will give more opportunity to local talent that are slowly being ‘brain-drained’ to America and Canada. The team are busy working on the PC version of Fuzzums which should be out this side of Christmas, but as game development is unpredictable the team don’t want to give a solid release date just yet.
