IGG 3rd Anniversary Celebration
Lemon posted this item on Jun 6, 2009

June 6th is a very special day for IGG Inc. (http://go.igg.com), as it marks this up and coming gaming company’s 3rd anniversary. Although IGG burst onto the scene with 2 quick hits in their first year, they have not flamed out, rather they have continued to provide great new titles and develop a passionate community of loyal gamers.

Within only 3 short years IGG has already transformed itself from eager novice into elite veteran ranked number 5 in the world among gaming publishers and developers. With page view and total player registration growing at lightning speed, they recently broke 10 million, and seem headed for the stars. Their stable platform of 10 high quality games is unparalleled among industry peers, and they seem to just be hitting their stride. Recent games include 2029 Online, Galaxy Online, GodsWar Online, and their newest addition, Freesky Online. Wonderland Online and Tales of Pirates were some of their earliest hits and currently entertain about 20,000 gamers each at any given time. Even their newest title, Freesky Online, has seen registration explode to almost 300,000 in only 14 days! This is a company that clearly knows what it wants and is doing it, and with players hailing from over 100 different countries, they are not limiting their ambitions one bit.

Plans for 2009
IGG will continue to pursue their goal of developing and publishing the best in online gaming entertainment for their worldwide community of gamers. Investing in the development of new titles, expansion of their server infrastructure, and streamlining customer service are all priorities as they head towards 2010.

Although IGG would no doubt like to take credit for all of their success, they have many partners that have helped them mature and grow as a company these past 3 years. These partners include some world renowned venture capital groups that have invested in their future and corporate partners like ClickandBuy, PayPal, Google Checkout, and Alipay that they work with on a daily basis.
