Today, ADEPT Games LLC, headquartered in Los Angeles, California, announced a new Freeplay Mode feature for its first puzzle game, the critically acclaimed “Trixel”.

The latest version is now available as a free update for current owners. Users will be prompted to download it, the next time they connect to the App Store.

“We've added a 'Freeplay' mode which allows players to continue past the puzzle completion requirement so they can experiment and eventually master the tougher levels later in the game. Expect more announcements and new content coming soon, says Dan Boutros, co-founder and designer. “

Additionally, to celebrate hitting the New and Noteworthy and Top 100 Paid Apps sections of the App Store, Trixel is now $1.99!

Trixel has received rave reviews and is now on the list of nominees for Golden Joystick's 'Mobile Game of the Year'.
