“Street Gears” is the upcoming free-to-play MMORPG from the gPotato.eu Portal. Scheduled for open beta this summer, this MMORPG takes place in Park Town and its surroundings, an area known as the playground by in-line skating fans. In Park Town or during quests and races, the players can meet and interact with many characters, which will be introduced to you today…
The four main characters of “Street Gears” are riders Luna, Tippy, Rookie and Rush who are the playable characters archetypes:
• 15 years old, Rookie is a boy full of passion and energy. Real hip hop fan, he is fascinated by extreme sports and loves the feeling of freedom provided by in-line skating.
• Beautiful brown-haired girl, Luna makes the Park Town boys go crazy. Ex-model, she wanted a more active life and started professional skating competition. Since then, she won the Park Town Speed Race Championship several times and is a legend in the city.
• Ex-soldier, Rush didn’t find his calling in the army. He was always very eager to fight, but his weakness was strategy. His physical power and brute force enables him to be very successful on the skating tracks, which he freely uses to intimidate his competitors.
• Tippy is a young facetious teenager. Usually shy, she triggers all her energy on the skating tracks.
The riders will meet a variety of characters during their adventures, wether it may be in Park Town or during the races. Quests and challenges will give the players more information about the history of the city: Is the old man in the park really a gangster? Did Tony really stoped his gangster activity? Where do all the black market items come from? Many questions which will be answered during the adventures and quests of Park Town.
Chinese government approval process successfully negotiated.
