Operation Darkness

Operation Darkness puts you in command of a British Special Forces squad during World War II that has been tasked with taking out the Nazis and Hitler while fighting a host of supernatural characters like zombies, skeletons, vampires, werewolves, and even dragons. Characters can use magic, change into supernatural beings, improve their weapons skills by becoming familiar with different artillery, and much more!

Operation Darkness is a turn-based tactical strategy game set in a fantastical take on World War II.

On this alternate Earth, you're in command of a British Special Forces team that includes two werewolf commandos, a sassy sniper with magically enhanced aiming abilities, a deranged battlefield medic, an android super-soldier, and so on. You'd think that this elite force would be able to win the war single-handedly for the Allies, but it's not quite that simple. The root of all evil in Operation: Darkness, the magician Adolf Hitler, has masses of tanks and human soldiers to send your way. He also commands a cadre of Nazi vampires, the shambling forces of the living dead, and even a fire-breathing dragon.

A British Werewolf in Germany
This is a familiar sort of turn-based strategy game from a mechanics standpoint, with each member of your unit being able to move and attack or use a special ability each turn. Taking cover to keep out of line of sight is usually a safe bet, but the enemy is smart enough to often do the same, at least when they're not in a tightly clustered formation. When they are bunched up like this, it's usually a good idea to fire off a rocket or lob a grenade to take out as many troops at a time as possible. Ending any given turn next to an enemy corpse will allow you to loot their bodies, and scavenging for enemy equipment is a great way to maintain your peak fighting capability, even during a protracted battle.
