Thrust into this near future first person shooter, you are left to fight and explore through a post-apocalyptic Russian landscape. S.T.A.L.K.E.R takes place in the near future, not long after Russian power plant, Chernobyl, went sky high. You take the place of a character, with the word Stalker, tatoo'ed to your arm. Through both curiosity and the effects of amnesia, you find yourself exploring farther into what is known as the "Zone." As you inch closer and closer to the zone, parts of the recent past begin to come back to you.
The wait is finally over, but was it worth it? Can a game that spent so long in development be everything we were hoping for when we first heard about it so long ago, or will it leave us feeling like it would have been a great game back...
