I am a huge fan of TV. Ask anyone who knows me. They will tell you that I enjoy watching TV to a point where it is on the verge of becoming an addiction. This is why the concept for Alone in the Dark is so intriguing to me.

The setup of the game is comparable to that of episodes of TV shows. Go through one episode and you are left with a cliffhanger, just like a season finale! But if you want to continue playing, there are immediate answers for you around the corner.

This always gives a sense of anticipation for the player, so that you are not only controlling the fate of your character, but also watching many plot twists and turns unfold as you play. Alone in the Dark has been hailed as being more of a film than a computer game, which sounds pretty exciting to me.

I am thrilled to finally encounter a game that is not based solely on the premise of war and annihilating other human beings. This game is based on different beliefs of the afterlife, supernatural phenomenon, and questioning what is and is not real.

This game is a great psychological and brainy adventure, with a spiraling tale that draws the player in through every chapter-like adventure. The real-world philosophical approaches taken in this game will leave the player questioning what they think they know, and what is fact or fiction in their everyday lives.
