When reading the background story on this game, I was extremely intrigued. I was really starting to grow concerned as to the simplicity of computer games. Every plot seemed the same. Every mystery was obvious. And then I stumbled on upon this game.
Cold Winter Waiting is more like a mystery movie than a computer game. On the website, we are only told the circumstances in which we enter the game.
The game begins when our main character, Alex Truman, is stuck inside a spooky house after a tree falls on it, trapping him in the basement. A secret passage is exposed, revealing an elevator deeper into the ground. Everything that happens once Alex enters the elevator is unknown to us. But I have a feeling it will be very spooky.
The intriguing thing about the game is that it looks like it will play out a movie. It looks like a great game and a great story. Definitely something new and original.

The game profile and the official website certainly make it seem well worth trying! If only I had the time!
