Where can you find all of your favourite video game characters trying to kill each other? Super Smash Bros. Brawl, of course, scheduled for release on Nintendo Wii on March 9 2008. This games looks really cool, with the trailer showcasing Mario, Link, Kirby, and, my personal favourite, Pikachu, battling it out against each other for, well, nothing really in particular.

The most exciting aspect of this game, I think, is the online multiplayer mode through your Wii. You can battle against all of your friends with Wiis at the same time!! I can still remember playing Pokémon Yellow on my Nintendo Gameboy. Sigh, Pikachu has come such a long way, as has the technology.  Who would have ever thought you would be able to link up video game consoles? Not me, but then again, I wasn’t really thinking about that so much.

According to reviews, you’ll be able to have an assortment of attacks that break down to normal, strong, and smash. There are plenty of different combinations in terms of ways of fighting against characters and endless customization combos. Customize your fighters, your weapons, and your fighting mode.

Some of the characters you can choose from include Mario, Samus, Bowser, Donkey Kong, Solid Snake, Meta Knight, Kirby, Pikachu, Zero Suit Samus, Link, Zelda, Pit and Wario

I am very excited about this game, and I’m sure it won’t let us down on the action content. I’ll be sure to update when we receive our copy. It’s been pre-ordered, so it should be here in no time, right? ;)
