In the beginning.. was the Immortals! »

In the beginning, Pan Gu, the creator, created the heavens and the earth. In the midst of this chaos, the lawful Fu Xi, the creator of life, Nu Wa, and Chi You appeared. This was the beginning of the world.

Fu Xi and Chi You began a war that lasted for days. In the end, Chi You lost to Fu Xi, and his body and powers were sealed by Fu Xi in a dark hollow dimension. During the war, Nu Wa created humans, and life began appearing on Earth. The victorious Fu Xi selected a few from the human race, and gave them powers identical to his own. These people ascended into the heavens, and took charge of the planet. These were the first gods.

The gods dwelt above the earth in the heavens, the humans lived on earth, and the proud and powerful Dragons lived in the depths of the oceans. Existence seemed peaceful, but soon, Hong Gong, a discontented God, would wreak havoc upon the peaceful coexistence.

Hong Gong valued strength and believed that Zhu Rong was not leading the Deities along the correct path. He amassed a force of almost half of the Gods and sought to seize power from Zhu Rong, this Heavenly civil war tore apart the Deity race and split heaven and earth. The enormous power of Hong Gong collapsed the Bu Zhou mountain that supported the heaven and earth, and the sky began to shake, and the earth began to sink. Fire ran across the land, and the world was covered in darkness. The Humans and Gods were in a panic, for this was Armageddon. The resulting loss of life was devastating.

In the end, with the support of the dragon race, Zhu Rong was able to defeat the rebellion army led by Hong Gong, and the surviving followers of Hong Gong were cast to the darkness of the underworld forever. Over the years, the appearance of these powerful and fierce traitors who had inherited the will of Hong Gong began to change, and they called themselves Demons.

Countless ages passed. On a fateful day, the Tai Yi, known as Sun Wu Kong was born after absorbing the essence of both Heaven and Earth. He created havoc in the netherworld, shook the Dragon palace, and turned the Heavens inside out. All three worlds were in a panic for the balance and harmony of the universe had once again been ripped apart.

In order to survive, the Humans had to battle with the Dragons who resided in the oceans and the Demons of the netherworlds at the same time. Because they were fighting on two fronts, the Human race could barely hold their ground, and the Dragon race took the opportunity to flood Xu Yang Er Zhou, the most prosperous land of the Human race.
In face of the weakened Heaven and Human forces, the time is perfect for the demon race to launch an assault. And so, you arrive here, brave soul, at a historic moment in time. A Moment when the universe is in great peril. The four worlds of the Gods, Humans, Demons, and Dragons are at a perilous point in their history, and a great battle seems imminent. This is merely the peace before the storm.  Whatever happens next could change the fate of the whole world which is so delicately balanced at this point in time. Which race will you choose? And how will you move the hand of fate?
