As a small independent developer, the company continued to exist for
many years, but unfortunately had to close its doors when Anco owner
Anil Gupta passed away on May 20, 2003. The company's former staff have
gone on to form a new development studio called Floodlit Software and
continues to offer patches for Anco games while developing new games in
the vein of Anco's past productions.
