Pivotal Games Limited was formed in March 2000 as part of a
multi-product deal with publisher SCi. Since its inception, Pivotal
Games has earned a excellent reputation for delivering unique, high
quality games and is recognised for its ability to hit deadlines.
Pivotal Games is renowned for developing action-packed team shooters
with a strong tactical element. Every Pivotal release places an
emphasis upon realistic combat, freedom of movement, switchable
characters and the use of real-world tactics. Pivotal Games prides
itself on avoiding the more traditional gun-and-run approach to the
action-shooter genre, opting instead to encourage players to adopt a
stealthier, more thoughtful approach to combat.
A total of four titles have now been released under the highly successful Conflict banner, amassing total sales of over 6 million units. Pivotal Games latest title, Conflict: Denied Ops, will be released worldwide in 2008 on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
From an initial 15 staff, Pivotal Games has now grown to employ over
