Metal Fin is a development studio established in the late 90's with
focus to strong scenario, gameplay and originality rather than fancy
graphics. Their first basketball manager game was published in the
Greek market in 1999 and was very successful. The development team came
up with the idea of a basketball manager game, as nothing like that
existed in the market at the time (which is the case even nowadays).In
2001, Metal Fin also released in the Greek market the war strategy game
"1821 - Struggle for freedom", which was based on the Greek revolution
for independency. The game achieved high sales in the Greek market and
enjoyed especially good reviews from the Greek press, and it went on to
eventually become the highest-selling game built from a Greek company
in the domestic market. Now, once again Metal Fin are
releasing in the Greek market "World Basketball Manager" (WBM), a game
based in their original idea, but much bigger, professionally built and
broadly-scoped, which highly demonstrates its creators devotion to the
dream of bringing to basketball fans the opportunity to get involved in
an exciting and rich management experience.
