Hey everyone, im curious to know what you think about X-box 360 modding. Modding is the flashing of ones hardrive to make it capable of reading burnt games. I know it is illegal in most parts of the world, but many of us do it anyways, I am a modder myself and i find it way nicer to download the game for free and you just have to pay for the disk (very cheap). Another bonus is you can download and play a game before it is in the stores sometimes.

What are your thoughts?

It is illegal and you won't find any help, advice or tips here.

Its still in the general topic of things that are illegal. Try to keep chat topic out of that area lol.

I am a supporter of modding xboxs, however, completely for the sport of it. Its a waste of an xbox though, because when Microsoft finds out that console is then permanently ban from live. Thats right a perma.

PS: some areas are more touchy than others, such as talking about p2p downloaded music, i would put that in a big no no here, but you might talk about music, or itunes being over prices (if you add up 30000 songs times a buck each). Im not sure that im getting the clearest message across right now (it is 1am), but ya just keep convo focused in general on legal topics

Well you dont need to flash your hardrive. There is an easier way of modding. But this is only for campaign and some games you can do it on multiplayer. It's called a transfer kit. There are youtube videos showing you step by step tutorials on how to get , mod, and play with a transfer kit. The transfer kit was generallyy made so people can transfer things from one hardrive to another. People plugged them into their computers and made modding programs. PS: Transfer kit provided by MICROSOFT. Google transfer kit. Order it online, or call xbox and say you want to have 1 shipped. Its about 12$. Add me on xbl GT Chumpoholic 97
ill explain it to u :)
