IGN: BioShock 2 Set for 2009

Very exicting and can't wait. Bioshock was one of my my most favorite shooters and I hope the sequel is even better.

I hated bioshock....was WAY too easy. I only died once on normal the first time through and that was because I was being stupid. The story was weird and the little girls looked about the same size as my daughter...which prohibited me from being a chump and going "darkside".

I will not be buying the next installment in that series for sure and I have a standing offer for a trade with my friends back here to get rid of my only used once copy of Bioshock 1.

2 thumbs down from me:thumbdown::thumbdown:

Eh, I really loved this game, I always play on hard, it is way too easy on normal. I can't harvest Little Sisters myself it's just too cruel xD. I haven't finished the game yet so I can't comment on the story but its good so far.

The general story is that a man named Andrew Ryan took some of the world's best scientist's down to an underwater city he named "Rapture" where he developed plasmids that allow humans to use supernatural ablities like Teleknesis and Inceriate. Unforunately, the plasmids are addictive as herion and the side effects are lethal making the whole city go crazy. You act as a man whos plane crashed landed in the ocean and your the only survivor and you take shelter in Rapture. I might be wrong but's that the general beginning from what I saw.

I loved the storyline in it, by far one of the only games that made me think 'oh christ! yeah of course, i realize now..' that made everything click into place.

I'm praying they can keep the sequel to a high standard!

I think the Bioshock storyline was entertaining enough, I just didn't like the fighting. Ammo was too hard to come by, so you had to use their little magic thingy system or whatever. Would have rather had ammo more abundant and had the choice of which of the two to use: lead or zappy magic garbage.
