I have to admit it’s unclear to me if your question is sincere? In case it is, I will take the time to respond.

Spawnpoint’s forums offer a wealth of information regarding everything from the basic server rules, tips for maps, procedures for reporting hackers, etc…. For any novice player this information can be very useful.

Beyond those basics, you will find that the Spawnpoint forums also offer a wonderful platform for any forum member to discuss virtually any topic they so desire in the appropriate sections. You may have noticed the forums have been designed to offer numerous choices that can truly assist someone with getting solutions to their potential problems rapidly.

I'm guessing his viewpoint on playing on SP servers is just to play.

The forums aren't 'needed' for the games you play, but I'm sure the intention for these forums was for SP not the games.
The forums just branch out to the games and what not.

Since Spawnpoint runs well over 30 servers and has upwards of 10 admins for each, plus thousands of regular users, we need someplace where we can ALL discuss issues. These forums are the center of the Spawnpoint community, and all of the server admins are required to be active here so we are up-to-date with news.

Plus if there is a problem with an admin/server, it is easier to discuss here than in-game.

Traffic to the forums and basically the website, is the only way Spawnpoint can generate revenue, and without revenue, there will be no servers to play on.

With the revenue generated from traffic to the site, Spawnpoint can provide servers to the players and eventually, if we can generate enough revenue, we can upgrade to better boxes, and we may even see a few more 100 tic servers
