Gunner, not everyday the admin job is easy. You often find a very stubborn, foul mouth, ignorant person with little disregard to server rules, And even when you think he's just there to cause trouble you still must give him warning to see if he changes. Its not everyday that its easy. Someday's its a burden. But yes, Somedays are good and fun.

And i'm glad you enjoy the Zm3 admin's. Yes were awesome :)

your gonna have to be admin the same way like everyone else. Please stick around SP for 14 day stay active on the forums without spamming, and stay active on the server you wish to be admin on.

When the 14 days are up go here http://www.spawnpoint.com/RequestAdmin.php and if the admin team think you are ready to be a admin you will get a email from spawnpoint with the descion to either be a admin or wait another day. and IF you do become admin it would be wise to read the "admin for dummies" manual for the "do's and don'ts" http://www.spawnpoint.com/feature/14..._2008_Revision

And i wish you the best of luck

I have been playing for a long time in the Dustfest server but joined the community today. Can't wait to become an admin some day. I think i could make the server a better place for gaming as hardly any admins visit it so racistic talk and hacking is quite common.

:offtopic:

You need to get some Admins on your Steam Friends list, so you can contact them when this happens. I don't know who the Admins are for that server, but I bet you will find out soon.

I have a generalised question. When you are denied admin, how long is it until can apply again?

Thanks in advance.

There is no specific age limit, although age is a factor that is taken into account when deciding who to give admin too. Maturity and the ability to carry out admin duties according to our rules is the most important thing we look for.

Being able to judge what is and what isn't appropriate is part of an admins duties and some very young players may not be able to do this as well as older players. So while we we favour older and more mature applicants it depends on the individual rather than simply their age.

As to the question about re-applying, you can re-apply 2 weeks (I think) after being denied. Just remember that if nothing has changed since your last application then it will likely be rejected again. Check the reason why your application was declined.

So if it was declined because of failure to participate at Spawnpoint.com and you've made no posts or blogs since then, your application will be rejected again. One of the most common reason is that the server is currently ok for admins, if this is the case then it can take a long time to get admin on the server so an application every few months would be appropriate.

It's never too late. Just learn from it and change what you need to change.

Just some friendly advice...sometimes we all need it.

Good luck.

Forum participation and posts is only part of the application process.

How you act on server, whether you follow all our rules, hacker demos submitted, knowing the other admins and getting on well with them and number of current admins on the server you apply for all come into it.

I really doesn't matter how good you are as a player, but how willing you are to do the job designated for you by Spawnpoint.
