Assign more dedicated admins on SpawnPoint common grounds D2

Not sure if this post belongs to the right place, but here goes anyway.

As mentioned , would it be possible to place more admins on 83.142.230.73:27015

Its a nice server to play on , and i've been playing on it for almost half a year now. Occasionally hackers would come in and blatantly kill everyone for the entire hour.

NEVER have i seen an admin actually being around to ban these cheaters for my entire 6 month stay in the server. So yea.. more admins pretty please ?

Hi hastafareh and welcome to these forums !

What time are you playing on Common Grounds ? And what is you in game name ? This has been some sort of my "home" for at least 1 year and half, since I've begun to play CSS, and I've never seen you either on the server.
I'm admin there, but i think you must not play there at the same hours as I. I tend to play between 7-10 P.M everyday, and sometimes at noon too.

What's more, you have to know that knowing an admin is not the only solution for you to get rid of hackers, you can also follow this guide : http://spawnpoint.com/pdf/reportahacker.pdf and help us to ban hackers from the whole sapwnpoint.com community.

Welcome to the forums, always nice to see people on from the UK servers.

I'm surprised you've not seen an admin on there in 6 months, I'm admin on there and although I don't play as much as I have I do still play, and check for hackers. There are several other admins on there, 2 are what I suppose you would call dedicated admins, they only usually play on that server and a few other that play there but less frequently.

What time of day do you usually play and what's your ingame name? It might just be that you are on a different times to the admins or just that there have been admin on but they haven't used any admin stuff.

I assure you a lot of cheats do get banned from that server, though there will be some that don't get caught. Myself and Skydavo (another CG admin) are responsible for over 270 hackers being banned since December, not all from CG but most of them.

If you see someone hacking then YOU can get them banned, just follow the steps in this link:

If you record a demo and send it in we will ban them from all Spawnpoint servers for good, if the demo shows they are cheating.

wow ! didnt expect to get replies so soon. But glad to know people here are active and the server is being monitored in good hands.

I go by the nick "MY" or "M" in the server, pretty sure i've played with furious george before The regulars that i notice in the server are the players tagged with "-Leeds-" since they kept accusing me of haxoring

As for the demo tool , i must admit thats pretty nifty ! Great to see such services for a public server. Most of the time i just quit or join another server whenever i spot a hacker. Had i known earlier about the demo tool i would have stayed to record and help you guys ban them.

My playing hours are a little odd, occasionally late night due to long university hours But that will change soon since summer holidays are due. Well then, hope to frag with both of you in server sometimes
