Yea its kinda sad b/c fleet and novakane were told they would recieve admin to the absence of oprep though i've seen him play on a couple of servers. It makes no sense since PHXX and CO have had an obscene amount of hackers and no1 on a regular basis to take advantage of the situation. I am actually upset since i was told i would recieve admin on the server of spawnpoint evolution....... and yet i find it quiet biased that a guy who told us we were going to admins to disappear and blame his absence on his comp while I logged him yesterday....

This is in the wrong section, this is for Ancient and for people to ask Ancient stuff. He has nothing to do with granting admin.

No need for insults either.

Have you sent in your admin application to staff@spawnpoint.com? If not then you should. I know OPREP was planning on getting some new admins added on Evolution, unfortunately his comp died so he's been out of action for a while. Not sure why you would find that biased.

Sorry if you feel upset, please be patient and if you want rid of those hackers you can always record demos, or ask afflikshon to message me.

My friend, insulting admins is not the smartest way to get admin, taking time to actually spell things correctly and punctuate helps alot too. I'm still not sure how people expect to get listened to when they talk like that, let alone be an admin..... Right click and "spell check this field", it takes three extra seconds and you fix any silly mistakes (It doesn't capitalize though :-\)

This IS the wrong section, and there have been a few posts like yours in that section recently, that is why Green reacted that way. For future notice these topics go in the Rant Zone or Report an Incident sections.

Also, im going to be totally honest. It seems kinda ridiculous that you're expecting to get admin rights on a SP server when you are hardly part of the community. You have 4 posts my friend. It doesn't show alot of dedication in my eyes.... Now I know thats totally speculation, not up to me, and possibly speaking for senior members who get to make that decision, but still. Being an admin is alot of work, you need to understand that. It means adding server regulars to your friends in case they need an admin, and playing on your server 99.9% of he time, and frequenting these forums to be a part of the community, and to see if you've effed up.

Interesting, I would have never thought of looking in Ancient Admins section regarding admin privilege especially for the Evolution server. Totally wrong section.

I did have issues with my laptop which I use to access my spawnpoint email account plus I was on active duty with the reserves. I finally got it fixed about 2-3 weeks ago. Since then, I've sent emails out to the prospective admins and believe I completed my end of the bargain to date.

In fact, I was on the Evo server some weeks ago and Medtech pressed me regarding admin and I replied that I was still working on the initial group. I'm using a crappy 1.8ghz desktop to play CSS and a crappy Dell XPS with outdated video drivers for my email accounts.

those admin's that oprep requested were pushed through about 2 weeks ago by me..... have you even tried to see if you have admin there?

if you do i am seriously thinking why you should have it when you come to the forums the way you have.

I believe I cc'd you on the email notifying all involved that admin was activated. In fact, if my memory is correct you also sent an email stating if anyone is having problems to contact you.
I've already sent several emails to various parties regarding the issue and plan on visiting the Evo server.
I just want to say thanks to Hitman and all the Senior Spawnpoint Staff members for their patience and support. Thanks.

Listen, i dont know what is wrong NovaKane but these are people like you and me. Delays happen, and our GUEST admin PRIVELAGES, are exactly what they say they are, we arent staff, and we arent gods. If you have a problem dont take it out on staff, they are great guys.
