New Hp Computer woot

I have just bought a new computer. I bought a brand new Hp m8430f. I think its awesome here is the specs =p

Not bad. Could definitely use a better graphics card for gaming, but everything else is top notch stuff. Enjoy the setup.

Nice, almost the same as mine. I swapped an extra 1gb of ram for a hd dvd drive

every one and intels.. w.e i hate intels.. they dont perform good enough for me. but any ways 4 gigs of ram kinda over loaded? but thats cool but just a rule of thumb... 4.5 or + will slow down u comp!! so be careful!!

And AMD's are faster atm? I think not. The fastest AMD (The Phenom X4 9950 Black Edition) which was released yesterday is only as fast as intels 1 year only Q6600 while using 45 watts (Or 35 watts depending on which version of the Q6600 is being used) of extra power (AnandTech: AMD's Phenom X4 9950, 9350e and 9150e: Lower Prices, Voltage Tricks and Strange Behavior)

And that is why servers have massive ammounts of RAM......

Also having more ram really helps while running multiple applications all at the same time.

Nice comp there Puzzledplane, but as canttouchthis said getting a better graphics card would enable you to run games with much higher detail. Enjoy your new machine

Yeah, the GPU is the only part of the system which might let you down. Why not chuck it on eBay, sell it and then put the money towards a 9600GT, as for the price, these are very good cards.
