New Nanotechnology

New nanotechnolodgy is being developed (if you want to kno the size it one billionth of a meter, down at the molecular level) and basically it can do so many unusual things down at that level that elements behave differently. It is one of the hopes that America have so they are putting trillions into is suits for their soldiers which will:
1.Be Comfy and provide a nice environment, ie make them cooler/warmer where nessecary.
2.Able to stop bullets/knives.
3.Allow the soldier to become invisible (or very close to).
4. If the soldier gets cut the suit will apply pressure to stop the bleeding (don't know how this works but it rediculusly complicated).
These are only hopes and still being developed however, they think in 15-20 years there will be millions of things made from nanotechnolodgy.
The best thing is that they may be able to copy DNA and this can hold something like a million GB per square inch compared to what we have now means a lot faster computer and more memory!
Don't beleive me? look on google or somehting for nanotechnology, I was at a conference with a guy from Oxford University and some of the stuff he said was so complex it was unbeleivable. Probs is what if those soldiers rebel against their leaders, there basically invincable so that will cause more trouble.

Just remember who's pushing the buttons when you try to rebel, lol. It goes right a long with that old phrase, but with a little twist "I put you into that suit, and I can take you out of it entirely."

I doubt we will see these 'nano suits' produced on a mass scale for the regular army as it will obviously cost a lot to develop and produce per soldier.

I imagine only special forces or other small tactical forces will be given these suits. But thats just my opinion

Don't know about that L4rk the guy wasn't specific although i can agree that it will cost millions, especially for the numbers of troops the Americans have probably billions.

Hmm that seems very similar to liquid armor! i read about liquid armor in a book i think it was called Map of Bones... That stuff really works but it has a draw back.. the bullet might not pierce through but it will knock you out cold with it's velocity and power. Anyhoo after reading the thread i found this article it's not the nanotechnology tho its the liquid armor! and i searched it on google and they had some videos of it but i don't know how to post videos in here..
