Free trial period or something else?
So I was just starting steam as you do, and I notice TF2 in my "not installed" list with "9 minutes left" next to it (and it's been like that for over 9 minutes now). I only have the source multiplayer pack on my account, so what's up with this? Are they making it free or something like that?

You just missed the free weekend
 Steam were allowing you to play TF2 for free this weekend..... It's over now though

yeah it was great for us regulars to level up on the fresh meat :P.
On a side note if you get portal first slice it also says you have portal preloaded. It takes up your hard disk space, but you can't play until you pay for it. How great.
