I do like the classics, but original NES is a little too 'classic' even for me. I like the SNES because of the color brightness, nice cartoony smooth graphics, and the games are schweet.

I have to agree here with Mr Me. The games for SNES were alot better than NES and the graphics were still 'old school' yet allowed you to actually determine what it was you were looking at. Essentially, it afforded the creative minds a little more freedom that they really utilized well. The best 3 games for SNES in my opinion were (and still are) Super Mario World, Zelda : A Link to the Past and Chrono Trigger. Some of these games compete for position in best games of all time. (In fact these 3 (Especially Zelda and Chrono Trigger) I would easily say are some of the very best games ever made and are a ton of fun to play through even today.)

I loved the SNES, just because I grew up playing it. I remember the NES but somebody broke it :o.
So some of the games I loved to play were:
Beavis and Butthead
The Donkey Kong Country series
Final Fight
F-zero
Goof Troop
The Lion King ^_^
Super Mario All Stars
Super Mario World - my all time fav. ^_^!
Yoshi's Island
Smash TV!
There are plenty more but theseare the ones I can remember playing off the top of my head.

My parents never bought me consoles so my first one was the Playstation, followed by the N64. I put down the 64 in my vote but now I think about it, the Playstation had some killer games (64 cause of the James Bond games).
Had a chance to play the SNES at school before all the ROM sites got banned and the school administrators got smarter >_< but Chrono Trigger was awesome. If I'd had some of the more old-school consoles I'd probably say something more classic than the PS but alas I am young...and my parents old.

Lol, I used to stash like 50 megs of Gameboy and SNES roms in my high school's server, they never caught on because I zipped them and changed the .zip to a .dll, knowing they woudn't delete a dll named SYSTEM.DLL.
I could play them from any computer in the school, just change the ext. and extract! :D

I'm gonna have to go with PS2 cause of all the games! So many good games on that system it's ridiculous. All the Final Fantasys (7-10) I played on the PS2 (accounts for like 2 weeks of my life, maybe more). Plus the Metal Gear Solids series on the PS2 was killer. However I do remember the original Nintendo and SNES and I especially remember cheating on Duck Hunt by moving so close to the screen I could touch it with the gun.
P.S. If you could put all the Playstations as one I would vote for all of them, but I do have to choose the PS2 cause I played the most on it. It will probably be the PS3 in a few years time though :).

Well im not a major gamer or anything
i was always a ps2 man, it had some great games, like god of war, tekken, some great fighting games
but since i got a 360 (i only have three games), and i just love halo. Halo is what makes the xbox so fantastic, without it the xbox would lose alot of fans Its really growing on me, i voted ps2 for now, but thats slowly changing.

SNES all the way, it was my first gaming system. I remember opening on Christmas I was so excited. All my friends had the NES and I had gone over their houses to play it but now I had my own system. SNES was like the perfect mix of decent graphics and gameplay. There were so many great games for it Secret of Mana was one of my favs. I have managed to get a NES since then but I have sold my SNES I've regretted it for awhile now.
