Which one is the Best Console – Game - device?

I have decided to enjoy my free time in Game Playing – So planning to purchase a gaming console. Mostly I like Action + Adventure, war / mission Style games.

Please post your comment – which one is the best and why do you like this console among others…

First: forget about the Wii. If your looking for the action/adventure/ war ect. then you should be looking at the 360 or PS3.

I say 360 or PS3 since they have the games you're looking for and are both are backward compatible. These consoles will allow you to play the games from the previous consoles (PS2 and Xbox) and the next generation of games.

Choosing between these two get a little controversial since you have your diehard fanboys. I prefer the PS3 but you will be happy with either. Each don't have too many differences.

PS3 = free online play. 360 = per/mo
SgtSilentKill sold his 360 for a PS3 and mentioned that it had better load times in game. (When driving in GTAIV at high speeds, the 360 couldn't keep up with him but the PS3 was always ahead.)

Both consoles have the kind of games you're looking for, and they will both give you the same viewing experience. There are factors that you personally should look into when choosing. Like "how much you want to spend" and "do you hate Microsoft or not."

1st of all if you absolutely want to play online, x360 might be a bit better online, but you have to pay for it.

If you plan on buying a blu-ray player for watching 1080P movies, pick the PS3.

You might want to look at the games each console offers.. x360 :gears of wars, halo, etc. Ps3: Resistance, Gran Turismo, etc.


I'm not going to be more specific than that, both of them are great, I recommand you to try both of them ( if possible naturally ;) ) before picking one. Also, if you plan on getting a x360, get the elite or w.e. they call it, it contains a Hard drive and more, makes the game more fluid and you can store more video/music and such ( ps3's come with hard drive, even the basic ones ).



And btw PSone ? you must be kidding...
