Let me first say that PS3 is simply, amazing...

My new Ps3 loads so much faster and keeps up with my game play.

Example..

In GTA4,in 360, while driving my environment would sometimes fail to keep up with my speeding and I would crash into invisible parked cars or hit light poles because the 360 could not load fast enough.. This happened to me in other games as well (Iron Man, Star Wars, CoD4)Etc..


Not an issue with my Ps3, its keep up with me and infact I've been trying to see if I can beat it.. Nope.. The PS3 not only has sharper graphics, but loads and maintains the games so much better its almost perfect.

Makes me even wonder why I picked up a 360 in the first place when I grew up on Ps1,Ps2...


And the fact that I DON'T have to PAY monthly to Play Online is amazing..:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D


Anyways, this is just my two cents...

Yea it took me some time to save for the things i needed to buy and enjoy the Ps3, But I'll tell you im 1,000% satisfied..

And tonight is the first time I'll be watching a Blue Ray Movie & on the PS3!!!!.. Ill post up and tell you guys how the picture was after I watch it tonight..


BTW, don't be afraid to + reputation since you guys say "Im so smart" lol ahhaha j/k

But i really want a console lol, it takes the p*** havin to wait for games to come out on PC such as Mirrors Edge and GTA IV.

L4rk you can connect any USB mouse and or keyboard to a PS3 ;)

When I weighed up the pros and cons of both I have to admit the Blue-ray player had a big impact on my picking the PS3.....haven't been disappointed in anything yet :D

Anyways.. Guys I watched my first Blue ray movie last night on my Ps3 (not 360 lol) and it was amazing...!!!!!!!!!!!!

Clean, Sharp, and I never seen such a clear picture in my life.. I also jsut bought a Samsung 52in Lcd, so the picture was perfect..


And in better news, just picked up NFS UnderCover, :eek:, great game!!!!!!

No loading problems with PS3 like I and countless others have had with their Xbox 360, Ps3 hands down is the best console out there.

Ps3 FT,M-F'n WIN! :D

I already had a 360. I bought it for halo of course when the PS3 didn't have crap for games and it was still an arm and a leg to buy. Now with the amount of games I own for it that my kids play, it is not worth it to get the PS3. The blue ray feature almost pushed me over the top to get it because the PS3 was just a little more money than just the blue ray players themselves for a while. Now the blue ray players have come down in price so....no talking the wife into a PS3...:(

you sure you came out winning there ;)? lol ps3 are so cheap now. Dont know about the version you got nor how much they are there. But here you can get one for around $399 Actually just looked at the 160GB its $499 here not that much still. I paid more than that when i got mine and its only 60gb but! it does have backwards compatability ^^ i got it within the first 2 months of it coming out lol..What i found funny is that a used 60gb "orginal" ps3 is selling for more then a new 80gb one ;) and only $70 cheaper then the 160gb version with 2 games! Guess if i sold it i could make up the price back and tehn buy another new one and still have some money left over ;)

And you can install games onto your hard drive. Not that it helps that does much it just makes your games run smoother and faster. But mine runs fine anywho.

I swear my 360 is better than others. People i know have a 360 and it lags like crazy opening up the downloads bits and in game they lag. But for me it is perfect.

Though i do get very tempted to save up and get a PS3 with having Playstations growing up i just feel more comfortable with them. But it would need backward compatability so i could re purchase FF VII and VIII i miss those games so much.
I am great at creating myself little dilemas. Would i really want to buy a PS3? or just stick with the xbox i have now?

You could just get the original 60 gig like me though I don't know where you would find one, maybe you could buy it off of Drifter. Plus it has four USB ports instead of the two on the newer ones so you don't have to get an USB extension when playing Rock Band.

pfft your crazy im not selling mine ^^ I was trying to point out how the value of the 60gb one is more than new ones. If you live in the states you can get it off gamestop :p for $430 used of course :p

Also you can now buy a second hand PS2 for about £30-40 for your final Fantasy experience.

Having said that you can actually still get 40gb or 60gb machines fairly cheaply if you look on line.
