What's the best game for the Nintendo DS?

I just got a new Nintendo DS Lite and I'm going to buy a game for it but I don't know what game to get.

Can anyone suggest any good games for the nintendo ds. I pretty much like all games so anything goes.

Anyways I got two questions for you.

Firstly, when you say Pokemon do you mean all the new ones that have come out for NDS or just one in general.

Secondly, I tried looking for Dragon Quest IV at Future Shop, and I could not find it. I found one called Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker, so I'm wondering if that's what you meant.

i been playing the pokemon games (diamond and pearl). Pokemon ranger is a fun little muck about but i wouldnt consider buying it.
