I am just posting this to give a sort of "Headsup" about Rock Band if your planning on getting it for your kids or even asking for it for birthday etc.

It is a GREAT toy for party's, a group of friends and also solo play. The Drums for Rock Band are great fun and not very hard to get used to. (so parents, your kids wont get frustrated and start throwing the drumsticks at the TV or anything)

The Guitar is a different story. I personally enjoy Guitar Hero Guitar's over the Rock Band one. The Guitar Hero one works with rock band so if you are like me and already had it, I just use that. The thing i don't like about the Rock Band Guitar is the buttons are a bit hard to push down. I am sure they get soft after some songs but i couldn't wait and needed my old baby from guitar hero III.

The game looks cool. Just wondering, how easy is the singing? Do you need to reach really high octaves and stuff?

In rock band you can have 4 players playing, with singing, guitar, drums, and bass.
