AK is my weapon of choice... I love the stopping power of it. The only thing I like about the M4 is the silencer for when I feel like being sneaky. But the AK with 2 round burst... amazing

i like both of them a lot but in DM i pick AK about 83% of the time over the M4 unless its dm_crackhouse or something then i usually get a scout.

The M4 vs the AK is an "accuracy vs power" match-up, in my opinion.

I definitely prefer the M4. It's got a higher rate of fire than the AK, it's slightly more accurate in 3-shot bursts, and because of it's low recoil, snap-shooting always pays off.

In my experience, moving crosshairs from one downed target to the next is enough to throw my shots off with the AK. I dunno though, maybe it's me... I play with my sensitivity at 7.5. =P

Ive heard that the AK is a better weapon if you know how to use it.
honestly i would rather scout in most situations
but of those two i choose m4. Im better with it. Seems more accurate with short burst.
im getting better with ak though.

If we were going with real steel guns here, it's kind of a toss up. Game wise, I prefer the M4. However real AK47's are accurate to about 300 yards, while M4's (with their shorter barrels) are roughly about 450 yards. AK's have the better stopping power with a 7.62 bullet, which causes a clean, big wound with good penetration on exit wound. While the M4 has a 5.56 bullet, which causes the bullet to have more of a tumbling action, which causes less of an immediate wound, but can tend to tumble when in the body, rarely causing an exit wound.
As far as in CS, the AK should be more accurate than what it is, but then again, so should most of the guns. I prefer the M4, but I'm certainly take an AK when offered.

I used to like the M4 when i was a nub cause i could control the spray better, but now that ive learned to play its AK, the first 2 shots of ak seem to be really accurate and that works with the way i play, 2 shots strafe, then another 2 shots

m4 all the way because i know how to shoot it correctly and it has less recoil than the ak does

Yeah hard to spray someone in the face with an AK, unless of course, you're 200+ feet away.

it is called sig 552 commando(krieg) and steyr aug(bullpup), also why call these guns with these names and not their true name aug and sig?? for me ak is better cuz u kill them sooner cuz of bigger caliber. aug owns hands down against a sig. for me ak vs aug would be like saying galil(defender) vs m4a1(colt). i have been playing CS for 8-9 yrs. only in css did guns get different names such as bullpup, krieg, and fn90.

real ak's are not accurate, a guy shot at a target 200 yards down range and it never touched the target, it has alignment issues and lots of recoil. i use sensitivity 15-20.

Ak for me, I use both both my accurancy is way better with ak

The Ak-47 is not a "Run and Gun" weapon for most people because you cant "Spray and Pray" due to the high recoil.

I do Run and Gun, works for me maybe you should deathmatch more.

ak is by far the most powerful between the two. Two shot head shots with it is so awesome.
