TF2 Server Anyone?

So TF2 seems to be more popular than when it first came out so who is interested in SP getting one?

If we were to get a 24/7 Two-Fort server that would be awesome! That map is the only one I play.

I would agree with yankee on 24/7 two fort with instant respawn. Like the old ones used to be??? I dont play games as often as i wish i could at the minute, but once i can i would frequent it frequently.

But if anything Phil, Can we have like a rotators type server with Cp, PL, And CTF, with fast respawn. (TF2 Fast Respawn 1.2 - AlliedModders OR Respawn System - AlliedModders)

EDIT: Or maybe later on down the road little after if this 1 server turns out great we can replace other 'dead empty' server with specific server like; 24/7 PL server, 24/7 CTF, or 24/7 CP.

Really, 24/7 2fort? Yuck, there really is much better map design out there. Payload is great. Besides, 2fort always stalemates and it's no fun at all. Rotation pl0x :D

2fort's the only good map... dustbowl's okay but the rest are too big. 24/7 2fort servers are always populated, I think it would be a good idea -.-

It be a little more fair for everyone to have a rotate server if anything. Cause i personally don't like 2fort, but i love Payload servers.

Should only be fair though.

I like the idea of an SP TF2 server, I think that 2fort is awesome, also overall I prefer cp maps :)

It would be east coast US as we have no spare UK capacity and it's not like the East Coast are exactly stretched to the limit right now :rolleyes1:.

How about a rotation of say 3 of the most popular maps? Initially we are going to be needing SP members to populate it so that should give most people something they'd find interesting.

CTF: 2fort
PL:Badwater
CP: Dustbowl

That's in my opinion on the most popular maps for each type.

What about cp_floodzone2_final?

I absolutely love that map, not many servers play it and it is quite popular.

I've requested the server set up. Instant respawn, 3 map rotation (2fort, dustbowl and badwater).

If there is anything else you want adding then now would be a good time to mention it.

There are a few server side things need doing at the moment so no current eta.

Can you add a bit of a cap for a few of the classes?

I dont code for tf2. As for that plugin im cautious of most of the plugins he makes as the rely on themselves alot. For example you have to have the plugin Simple core or something. Not a huge deal but if one dosnt load the rest wont load. Also the way hes balancing is not to my liking nor the way we would like to have it. Ignoring admins isnt exactly something that is needed or really wanted. My plugins i doubt work for tf2 orange box engine is a bit different. Plus i cant test anything i dont ahve tf2 ;-) We shall see but at the moment im doubtful to code anything specific to tf2.

Aye. I thought the orange box engine was practically the same thing as the source engine that CSS uses.

Hate to stay on subject but, Since that team balancer isn't the greatest. How about this one. https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=89136&highlight=TF2+balance It's a auto-balancer and a Auto- scrambler as well. I didn't get the chance to skim though it though,
