Yep, that was a hacker. Demo reviewed and his SteamID has been banned, so he shouldn't be bothering you anymore.

Thanks for the report, the more people take the time to report cheats the fewer we have on server. No need to make a forum post as long as you've sent in a demo.

If you're wanting them removed from server before they empty it then feel free to add me on Steam using cpnichol. I'm sure other admins would be happy to add you too.

This afternoon there was a cheater on the server. Name: Samsaker, Steam ID: _0:1:37453824.

I have recorded few rounds as he was playing, killing everyone always with headshots without aiming. We asked him to leave but he stayed until I told him that I am recirding him for ban.

Where can I send the recorded demo file as an evidence?

Just for extra bannage I submitted your demo to steambans, so hopefully he'll be banned from a few thousand other servers as well as ours.

It is always annoying when people have fun on the server and then some cheater comes and destroys all of that.
You cannot reason with them usually and they would not go away.

What kind of fun is it - without any skill you slaughter all your opponents?
I never understood it. I am not a strong player but would not cheat just to do so.

Anyway, thanks again. I am spending a lot of time on this server, so you can expect more. (In the past I did not know how to record and I thought that it was trickier than it is in fact.)

You can use the report a hacker for reporting idiots or admin abuse, in fact I would encourage it. They are unlikely to get perm banned for team flashing, but if they continue to cause problems then we will temp ban or perm ban as appropriate.

Just note that sprays don't usually show up in demos.

I have just submitted a demo. Hopfully we won't see mr (N.W.A)RunN!gg@ around again with his aimbot.

Hi,

I have just submitted a demo of a cheater I banned for a week (masonturner25).
Thanks for giving me the chance to be able to act and not only observing helplessly.
It makes a difference and it's good to see the other players reaction when the cheater is kicked/ banned.

I have to admit in the mean time that it is a huge responsibility. Players tend to shout "cheater" lots of the time when someone better kills them in several rounds in a row. You have to watch the person through several rounds in order to see what he does or does not do. Recording and reviewing demos can help a lot, especially when you watch the critical parts in slow motion.

I am enjoying it so far and I am doing my best to be always fair . Thanks again for the chance to do so.
