clan-to-clan recruiting

I dont know what the feelings are on this but i would like to request permission to ban any player trying to recruit players who are already in a clan.
i understand that players may like to switch clans, which is fine if they request it, however i am not very happy with another clan stealing one of my members.
i've jsut lost one member to another clan, and am told by him that they are also looking to recruit others from my clan.
i would like to be able to stop this for any clan. i understand that i cannot simply enter server and ban the members who are responsible for this, and that there must be warning first, i just need to know if it would be acceptable to enforce this.
please anyone leave your views especially you high admins, im not a very happy camper right now, especially because my clan are all close friends.

So, someone bruised your ego by stealing a member from your clan and now you want to abuse your admin powers? Grow up, you lost a member WHO CARES?

i am not looking to "abuse" admin power, i am looking for guidance and thoughts on this issue. yes i requested permission to enforce this, however that would be up to the higher admins descretion.
also as i noted my clan is all close friends, i go to school with him and would give anything for him therefore this act strikes ME ratehr deep, hence this post and request for guidance

I am not going to be as callas as Zol but I agree with him. Banning clans trying to recruit your members would be a serious abuse of admin. If your clan and friendship with your clan-mates are strong, it shouldn't be an issue. I do think that the one that was recruited should have talked to you and the other clan members first, but if the new clan that he was joining doesn't play on the same servers, what is theproblem? PHXX might feel a little differently about the wholematter, but they ARE pretty much SPAWNPOINT, and I think that they can speak for themselves. I used to be in more than one clan in the old days and it wasn't really a problem because we didn't play on the same servers or league. I realize it might sting a little when that happened, but give yourself a few days and see how you feel....it would be a shame to end a friendship over something so minor. He seems sincerely appologetic and maybe talking together might be the best thing before any hasty decisions are made...

oi :S i did say ban didnt i. in which case id like to reword. im not necesarily looking to ban these ppl, i jsut dont like otehr clans trying to steal your members when we ARE all playing regularly on the same server. if members wanna be in other clans playing on diff servers i dont care, but i dont want my members being stolen to play on same server with a diff tag, thats disrespectful. seeing as my point doesnt seem to be getting accross i will request this poist to be locked, thank you

Clans will be clans. If sombody left your clan because another clan invited him, that does not give you the right to ban that person/clan. Do not ban without valid reason. Personal grudges are not grounds for ban

Instead of banning/kicking the offending player, wouldn't it be far more satisfying to awp him in the head?

again i restate my word change of ban to something not so harsh
and yes, i was jsut on with the other clan in question and the multiple awp kills, many of which were headshots, were very satisfying =D

im aware of the post, adn i know theres nothing against rules. i still stand by my belief that its morally wrong.
