error downloading maps

whenever i need to download a new map from the server it will get 3/4 of the way through it very quickly and then it will give me a notice saying "error: maps missing; miss map gg_cirular; disconnecting"

any idea how i fix this

problem seems to be fixed now, i was able to download gg_defenstrate today and i havent been able to in the past 2 days. thanks guys

If you read this d.o.c., I guess you can re-add gg_grau or any other map you removed when the problem started as it wasn't caused by the map itself.

i don't know if it applies for those maps, but you can always go to www.caleague.com and in the counterstrike: source section download all the new maps and pluggings and put them in the appropriate directory. I had to do that for the strike map ( not too bad of a map). But if it's a custom map, I can't say I'd know how to help you with that one. sorry

If the map is larger than 16MB, its possible that it wont download to players unless server setting net_maxfilesize is changed from default 16 to something else, like 64 which is the max setting. Also if no sv_downloadurl option is used, setting net_maxfragments should be changed from 1280 to max 1400. This would make the download a bit faster, allthough full advantage is gained by using sv_downloadurl, a separate download host where everything can be bzip2 packed (reduces filesize usually from 30-80%!) and its faster too, depending on the host speed.
