Hi it's AboAly,one of thenew admins for 24/7 assult Da server
In gameplay players were asking me if the map can be changed i saidits assult 24/7 so no but i had the choice between assault and assault tactik so i made a vote about that and 80% voted for tactic.
so i changed map 2 tactick , but then i was informed from one of the other spawnpoint players thatim not allowed 2 do that, i drectly switched back 2 reg. assault so i can conatct u and make sure if im allowed 2 do it or not.
i wasnt inforemed about this earlier so im sorry if i broke any rules, if its not against any rules thank you 4 the info. and illpass it 2 our players and admins.

I don't think there are any set "rules" for that mate.

In all honesty and the majority of players wanted to play a different map then you probably did the right thing in changing it for them.

You could have posted an admin message saying that you were only changing the map for a bit to suit the requests and changed it back when you left.

Remember that the server should be busy and stay busy. If by changing the map people stay on server then you're doing a good job. Remember YOU are the admin and not the regular player.

If its no hassel i would stilllike 2 get an answer from someone from staff; again the question is it ok 2 play assault tactik on 24/7 assault server if thats what the players ask4 (vote proved).

well the fact that taktic is uploaded to the server makes it clear to me that you may change it if you want

If you place a vote, and the session is assault only, and the vote is for assault style maps.
If it passes the voting... go for it.. Who says the map has to always be the same.?

But you will loose some people, keep in mind that tactik is a BIG map.

nicely put raven. i agree completely with this. sometimes people would like a map just to change things up a bit. if it keeps people happy and the server populated, i think changing the map is fine. the only thing is, i wouldn't change the map without a vote and a clear majority vote to change it. for example, on the scoutzknivez server, we have plenty of scout maps on there, but usually it stays on scoutzknivez since people favor it, but every once in a while people would like a different map and i'd put a vote.

As I said in the server, I see no problem with changing the map to another version of Assault, if the majority of players vote it in. It is an assault 24/7 server, therefore the server should only run assault...right? True, however...the title of the server says Assault 24/7, not cs_assault 24/7.

You can run any variant of the cs_assault map you wish if it is voted in.
