Ya did anyone ever think if having a server in a local area such as the vancouver assult one you should have PT considering that The entire west side of Canada is PT and not GMT i think its odd for a person to hit THETIME
and come up with 8:46 GMT and then go down stairs and look and see 4:24 that is a whopping 4 hour difference.

Well, if you know it's a 4 hour difference, then it shouldn't be hard to figure out what time it is in your time zone in relation to what "thetime" will bring you from the server.

4:00GMT from the server = 12:00PST

Simple math man.

I know that you guys may like maths, but I was wondering if it can be fixed maybe...

Actually Understeer it's extremely difficult to tell what the time is in various time zones what with British Daylight savings time and what not and with so many zones in te US.

I'm forever asking folks what time it is in their areas just to try and fathom out how far in front we are

Is there any way that the servers could show you the time in YOUR own time zone or am i asking the impossible?

I don't see why anyone needs to type "thetime" in a server and get the time. If you don't have a clock or watch you shouldn't even be on the internet lol..

some ppl dont wear watches or have clock in their computer room nor have dual monitors and taskbar on the monitor they dont have games running on.

Well you can always get one or check the time when you die.. Seriously its not that big of a deal lol
