Tried to ban someone...

I tried to ban this guy that was clearly wallhacking. I sent in a demo with his name etc etc. He left before I could get his Steam ID. I allready sent in the demo. Is it possible for him to get banned without the steam id?

As long as you typed 'status' in the console during the demo, he can be banned. If you didn't type status, then unfortunately, you will have to try and catch him on another occasion.

Titan is correct, although there are a few ways to try and get his steam ID.

Hopefully I will be able to view some of the demos tonight, if I see yours I will check Psychostats to see if he played long enough to register. We cannot simply ban by name, because all he needs to do is changed his name and he would be right back in.

If we can't get the ID, just keep an eye out for him again

Thanks guys, he actually came back in later so I redid the whole report. Got his steam ID and got an E-mail saying he's banned. Silly wallers :/ Thanks

When you send a demo, you have to do like this right:

Type: record "hackers name" (enter)

Type: status (enter)

(wait a few rounds) Type: stop (enter)

That`s all you gotto do right? Have always wonder about how to send a demo and i have get many tips but i can`t understand anything of what their saying....
