Email notification of response

How many of you have started new threads or posted in the forums and have forgotten to uncheck the "Notify me via e-mail when someone replies"[:@]I think that it would be better to "opt in" to this feature rather than the way is is set up now. SPAWNspam my wife calls it . I told her it was my fault for not unchecking the box.[8D]I know it is just a little thing but......

This is not default. You must have set it:

1) Go to My Profile > Look for Posting Preferences
2) Uncheck the box beside "Always Subscribe to threads when I post"

This option, unchecked, will remove the check box that automatically is selected when you create a new message.

Yea....I accidentally did this and didn't think to check my profile....NOOB<-------*points at himself and shuffles away with tail between legs*

Does your email notification work? All I get is a blank email with nothing in it.
