Hello all,
Recently my demo submissions have increased two fold. I feel as though I’m becoming more proficient, yet I ran into a dilemma tonight that I would like your suggestions for how to streamline my process. Dilemma: Upon entering assault server 108.4, I observed three potential hackers which resulted in me spectating three different players. Submitting the first demo (which was actually the last I had recorded) was easy because all the needed information I had copied and ready to paste. It’s the second and third demo’s that I now have to review again, to copy their name and steam ID. Below is the process that I’m currently using: 1. Move to spectator & start recording demo. “record hacker-name-here” 2. Type; sb_status or status (we prefer sb_status if it works) 3. Highlight, copy hackers name and steam ID 4. Stop demo within 3 rounds usually. 4a. Zip demo file to reduce time required to send. 5. Go to; http://www.spawnpoint.com/reportHacker.php 6. Paste hackers name and steam ID 7. List description and server IP address 8. Select server 8. Attach demo file 9. Submit Demo I have found (due to all the very unique names and fonts) that copy and pasting their names is more efficient and accurate. When I record multiple abusers, is there anything short of writing their information down that could help streamline my current process? I look forward to your suggestions. Thanks a bunch T.J.

When I'm reviewing I always have notepad open and copy and paste name and SteamIDs onto there. In this case you could just copy and paste all the SteamIDs of all the players on server to notepad, then copy and paste from notepad rather than keep going back into CS:S.

Ah, that’s the perfect solution but I can tell you why I didn’t think of it.
I have an old Dell 8400 dimension series that is in dire need of replacement. I find that if I’m playing in the default mode (that I have come so used to) the video default has always been; “Full Screen.” While playing in this mode, if I use alt+tab to escape the game, it can take a minute or more before I successfully escape and have access to another option. Currently it takes me approximately 10 minutes to successfully process then submit the demo and return to my game. If I have video running; “run in window” the alt+tab instantly changes but then my gaming success dramatically drops because the view is smaller hence I cant see opponents as well. I have tried numerous resolution settings but none seem to duplicate the Full Screen view ![]() I have come to realize that I might have to sacrifice my gaming success to have the ability to process demos efficiently. I’m looking forward to the day I can upgrade my pc. Sure appreciate the great tip! T.J.

I am happy to report I successfully have steam video running in a window and have already had success submitting a demo quickly. Look out hackers, my "game" has just been refined
