I did a quick search, and I see that some people had a similar problem in january, anyway my inbox says I have 1 message, it used to say it was unread, now it just says total 1, but I never did read any message? I don't see it anywhere, and when I go "empty inbox" it still says I have 1 message.

or...maybe I'm just confused

It might be that you received that message before the website upgrade, they didn't work before then. I've got a similar thing in my inbox, says 18 total but there are only about 8 messages.
