What forums?????

What forums would you like to see on the SpawnPoint website???

[Mr-Me-II]

FLAMES!----- Because somtimes...well...people get angry
Mapping/modding----- Sharing info about your new map/mod for whatever game. I'll make a tutorial on how to make SC and CS maps as a sticky
Private section----- For the admins to converse important topics (passworded?)

What type of forum do you want this to be though?

If you want just casual people from the Spawnpoint servers to play I would make it more user friendly, maybe adding a general chat/general humour section and also a pictures/images forum, but if you wantthis for another purpose then do whatever. All you have atm is discussions about Spawnpoint, Spawnpoint servers, Steamgames and something on politics...

Just wondering but why dont you have a PhpBB forum? Their much nicer than this and probably come with better skins, not to mention the great control pannel they have for both the user and admins.

Aside for the PhpBB, these forums already have everything you suggested. I guess you just haven't really looked. Really not at all because it is all easy to find.

And really alot of the sections can be used for general chat or humor, they just aren't specific to it. And if you hadn't noticed, there already have been a number of threads involving general humor and chat. You just haven't explored very much I suppose. Check in the Ancient Admin forums every so often. They are always good for a laugh. As for PhpBB, without using it Spawnpoint is doing two things. They are refusing to conform to the aristocratical rule of PhpBB, and instead choose to do things their own way. They are also capable of doing more with the forums by not using PhpBB. They are not restricted by the template of PhpBB. They can play around a little more. But feel free to make suggestions still because they are always looking for more ideas to improve the site. The forum skin ideais good.

Random thought:

Photo gallery needs more sections I think...

"Funny" for just plain stupid/funny pics
"Rigs" for people to show off thier gaming rig
"Anything" anything (appropriate) sombody would want to share

Right I see the general discussion thing now - dont know why I didnt before.
As for the photo gallery I still think it should be its own forum, and Mr Me's suggestions are good.
Rants forum does look like a place to spam.

Should we have a sig makers forum for the more skilled people in photoshop etc and the people without a decent sig.

This is just me but the forum skin looks dull, also that pale green type colour doesnt contrast well with the boring blue, and to top it off we have the exiting greyand white.

Is it possible to make the default text size up to 2?

your should make some of the more seriouse forums more professinal and neater and stuff but things less serious can be wacky..lets act like profetionals here
