Here is my question / problem. I tried to sign up for M4G, but I never got a confirmation email, so I can't. I know I used the correct email.

Personally, I try not to look in my junk mail folder too often...I'm always afraid I'm going to find a bunch of emails from Hitman that start with "oh crap, what did I do to my computer this time?"

Mr Me. I think that email was sent to all Spawnpointers to recommend they sign up for M4G. Check who it is from.

There are two versions of Movies4Gamers. If you are responding to the email, you are taken to a page that lets you choose between:

- Under 18
- Over 18

If you are under 18, you are taken directly to a page where you can install the software client. If you leave your PC on, you should start receiving video clips, trailers and other media within 24 hours. No email confirmation is required (yet).

If you are over 18, you are sent to my.movies4gamers.com to create your account so that you can buy tickets to movies and get special promotions for gamers over 18. After you create your my.movies4gamers.com account and confirm your email, you will be sent to the software installation page. After installing the client, you should start receiving clips and movie trailers within 24 hours.

SO.... in a nutshell:

If you are under 18, your site is phxx.movies4gamers.com.

If you are over 18, your site is www.movies4gamers.com. Your management portal is my.movies4gamers.com.

Yeah, when I go to your main site and click on myM4G it takes me to a billing info page. No other links and will not do anything without credit card info. Also, after it installed the software, I could not open any new windows. I could navigate what was open just fine, but couldn't open any more or run any programs. I restarted several times, same effect. I booted to safe mode, removed your software, and now my system works fine. Your software automatically adds itself to startup list. What time I looked around your site, there is nothing there, I can click on "about us" "contact" "support" and "deliveries". All looks pretty much useless at the moment. I saw one preview for "deadly eyes" under deliveries, but thats it. It is not even there now. The site is not very friendly trying to navigate it if there is more to it than that.

but for whatever reason, I did not use the correct link, when I first heard of M4G.

Now when I log in, I get this CC request again. For one thing this site is or does NOT appear to be secure, so no CC info will be provided.

I still never got an email confirmation for the first email and name I tried, and I too am over 18. I tried another email and name, and got the confirmation email this time. However, I am having the same problem as Star, and I would rather not provide CC info without knowing exactly what I am buying and it is secure.

My.Movies4Gamers.com is the payment portal, you only need to go there if you want to purchase movies.

There is no need to log in to My.movies4gamers.com if all you want to do is see your downloads. That's under deliveries on the main site.

Click on "deliveries" to check on what has arrived.

Once you sign up, you automatically start receiving previews, trailers and movies. Make sure you leave some idle time for your downloads to complete, overnight is the best.

I am assuming you are talking about leaving the software running when you say leave some idle time? Why is there software with it anyway? Is this the same software that everyone has already had to remove due to problems it was causing? If it is, I cannot even find a link to re-download the software.

M4G uses a "pre-delivery" software system that sends high-quality movies and other media to your drive when you system is idle.

As opposed to streaming, where the movie might stop in the middle, we can offer the ability to play the movie over and over after you've bought a ticket, or even transfer the movie or music to your portable player (coming soon!).

The reinstall feature is being overhauled this week - our installer has been upgraded. Look for that option the site soon.
